Due to infection control, all items would need to be new.
Most children who have a procedure in ED, Out-patients and the wards are able to choose a small gift as a ‘reward.’ We have huge numbers of children coming through the hospital and this small gift makes all the difference. We are talking about things under £1 that you would put in a party bag, or maybe things in sets that we could split. Things like:
Bubbles, small cars, tubs of bouncy putty, or modelling clay, small books, bracelets, hair clips, little lego and playmobil figures, nail polish, face masks for older children and small items ‘on sale.’
· We would also be grateful for babies dummies all ages
· Zippy cups and baby teethers that you put in the fridge.
· Tubs of playdough
· Crayola felt tip pens.
· Children’s birthday wrapping paper
· Uno cards
· Uno Flip cards
· Playing cards for young people
· Baby oil for using in sensory play
· Contact Lens solution for making slime (it is REALLY important that it contains Boric Acid, pleas look at the ingredients)
· Small babygros under 1 year
· Small vests under 1 year
· Fluffy bed socks for young people
