We held a Family fun afternoon at Glenmore Activity Centre, Lisburn on 29th February 20. We had a massive turn out of friends who came to support us.Sam managed to sleep the whole way through!!!!

Activities included: A Bouncy Castle, soft play area, penalty shoot out, tattoos, nails and hair Stations, arts and crafts, Tombola, balloon modelling, face painting.
Baby Sensory and Toddler Sense provided fantastic, stimulating and fun activities for the little ones in attendance. We also had information leaflets to raise awareness of Sepsis and Meningitis and Paediatric first aid from KeepABeat NI. We had a visit from Paw Patrol’s Marshall mascot!

We provided food for adults and children (Friends and family baked and made food for us as well as kind donations from Tesco, Bentrim Street Lisburn and the children’s food was donated by Creightons in Finaghy) Partybox Pixies, Lisburn donated a personalised rainbow balloons and collections of balloons in a array for colours to decorate our hall and foyer.

To raise more funds we had Guess the name of the teddy and an Easter Basket (supplied by the charity)
Our Raffle had some fabulous prizes including an overnight stay at Jurys Inn Belfast, Belfast Giant tickets, family passes to various venues including W5, Streamvale Farm etc, Signed sporting memorabilia including a signed Boxing Glove donated by Carl Frampton, signed Ulster Rugby Shirt from Podium Sports and autobiography signed by Jonathan Rea and a signed NI netball.

It was an amazing day and we raised over £5000 to be used in PICU!!! WE ARE SO DELIGHTED AND SAM IS DOING AMAXZINGKY WELL ALL DOWN TO THE INCREDIBLE TEAM OF MEDICAL STAFF AT THE RBHSC!!
