**How your money has been spent this year**

Well unfortunately summer is now over, but we thought we would do a round up of the equipment we have purchased over the last few months to highlight what your amazing generosity has achieved!! Without the support of individuals, schools, clubs and businesses across the province this simply wouldn’t be possible, so thank you from everyone here at the RBHSC #HelpingSickChildren

Otoscopy Kit – Training and simulation system for ENT Department. – £9118

Short stay unit sensory lighting A&E – £681

Spinal Surgical Table – £48,000

Cystic Fibrosis  Unit – Nebulisers x 3 £2,167.50

Glidescope Laryngoscope – Mobile intubation system for PICU – £7,886.90

Specialised  wheelchair, OT Department – £7,330.75

Allen Ward – 3 adjustable beds  £12,000

PICU, Telemedicine Equipment – Teaching diagnostic aid system linking PICU to other specialist units.- £12,796

PICU- 2 specialist weigh scale beds –  £9,900

Paul Ward, Safe Space Siesta protective bed  – £6,524

Hospital School, Art equipment – £1,497

Play Dept, 4 x mobile sensory activity centres – £4,064

Sleep System –  a cushioned  system to assist position and comfort –  £748

Fracture Clinic Specialised surgical equipment.- £5,000

Barbour Ward- Climate control fans – £2734

Specialised Buggy – Social Services department – £1456

TV for outpatients

Ipads for various wards for use by patients and staff – £1,500

Simulator System Mannequin Advanced teaching aid for next generation of medical students – £24,000

All of these items contribute to the health and wellbeing of the children who attend the Hospital from all over Northern Ireland.
