Willie’s Christmas story

Armagh’s charity fundraiser Willie Nugent’sChristmas book, ( which sold out a few

days ) before Christmas, raised the grand total of £3,300 .

“ Friends of the Cancer Centre Belfast City Hospital “.

“ Royal Belfast Hospital for Sick Children “.

“ Guide Dogs for the Blind “.

Will each receive £1,100.

Willie would like to thank everyone who bought his book, the school’s and

playgroups who sent letters saying how much the children loved it.

Big thanks to all the shops that sold it ; Armagh Gazette shop;

Pet World; Dessie’s; Armagh blooms; TG Hawthorns; Macaris;

Trimprints shop; Curran’s Spar shop; Raffles; The Flower shop-o’ Kane’s;

and his sponsor, “ Nugent and Gibney LTD for covering all costs. Without

each and everyone of them it would not have been a success.

Finally I’d like to thank Armagh’s Ulster Gazette and Armagh l for all their help and

support……..Here’s hoping we can all get together again next Christmas
