**Virtual & Live Stream Fundraising**
Over the past week, we have been exploring new ways of fundraising. Like many charities, our traditional fundraising has completely stopped for the time being.
However, we really like the sound of Virtual or Live Stream Fundraising using platforms like Youtube, Facebook Live, Twitch, Zoom & Houseparty in association with our JustGiving page.
An example idea is to have a ‘Pub Quiz’ via the Houseparty App. Prior to the event, you set up your JustGiving Page (Our link – https://www.justgiving.com/helpinghandrbhsc) and ask people to pay an ‘entrance fee’ and you can ‘buy a pint’ too.
Some other ideas we like the sound of –
Coffee Morning – entrance fee.
Fitness Class or Yoga/Pilates – pay per class.
Music Event – if you’re a local artist or band you could charge an entry fee.
Tutoring sessions, for example French or Music lessons – pay per class.
We welcome your ideas too!!
All of these ideas can be hosted using the various app platforms above through your phone, tablet or computer. Just remember to set up your JustGiving page first and promote your idea on social media. We are on hand to help you in any way we can. We’ll also promote your event via our social media channels and website.
